Bill Beaumond had a hand in Trois-Rivieres defeating Sherbrooke by the score of 8-3. Beaumond went 3 for 4 at the plate, scoring 2 times and driving in 2 runs. With the win, Trois-Rivieres raised its record to 65-55.

With Trois-Rivieres leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Beaumond hit a fastball from César Cruz for a 2-run double. It was his 36th double of the season and put the Trifluviens ahead, 3-0.
