The Laval Insulaires downed the Gatineau Draveurs, 5-4, at Insulaires Field. The Insulaires were led by Chris Egan. He went 3-3 with a triple, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. At 72-45, the Insulaires claim first place in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec Division Sud.

Bill Liston was the walk-off hero for Laval. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Insulaires pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Liston told the Laval Herald.
