The Levis Fourches took Trois-Rivieres pitcher Rocky Aubin's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Trois-Rivieres Stadium. The final score had Levis getting past the Trifluviens, 6-5. Aubin went 8 innings and allowed 4 runs, striking out 1. The Fourches now have a record of 54-61.

Levis took a 5-4 lead on Roberto Caballero's 17th triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Caballero hit in the top of the ninth, left Trois-Rivieres pitcher Gary Ketcheson shaking his head.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Caballero, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
