Fading Dons Lose 9th Straight
The fans at Bucherons Stadium witnessed quite a game.

The Thurso Bucherons stopped the Quebec City Dons, 6-5, at Bucherons Stadium. The Bucherons got a big game from Monty Brisson, who was 3-5 with 3 singles. He scored 3 runs. Wayne Morley, credited with the win, is now 2-3. He allowed no runs on 1 hit.

Kieran Hilton was the walk-off hero for Thurso. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bucherons catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We saved our best for last," said Hilton.

Thurso is second in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec Division Sud with a record of 58-53.
