The Gatineau Draveurs picked up a win at Draveurs Stadium, knocking off the Quebec City Dons, 5-3. Starting pitcher Mark Wall played a key role in the triumph. Wall got the win, improving to 13-9. He allowed 8 hits and walked 5 over 9 innings. Wall allowed 3 runs. The last-place Draveurs raised their record to 49-56.

Kelton Orton had a timely hit in the bottom of the sixth inning. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Gatineau left fielder hit a 2-run single. That put the Draveurs in front, 5-3.

"I was hoping to make good contact," said Orton. "I wasn't trying to knock the snot out of it."
