The Lachute Supercalenders turned back the Levis Fourches, 8-7, at Ballpark of Lachute. Waldo Auclair, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 2 for 5 with a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Lachute reliever Tom Kowalchuk picked up the win to move to 1-1. J.T. Rigg suffered the loss. At 51-54, the Supercalenders find themselves in third place in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec Division Sud.

Ken Fitzsimmons was the walk-off hero for Lachute. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Supercalenders catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Fitzsimmons said.
