The Quebec City Dons picked up a win at Insulaires Field, knocking off the Laval Insulaires, 6-4. Starting pitcher Tony Peacock was a big reason why. In 9 innings, Peacock surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 3. He allowed 4 runs. Quebec City is now 37-61.

Quebec City used a timely hit from Freddie Moraine to get the win. The right fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dons on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was huge.
