A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Gatineau Draveurs and Laval Insulaires.

Gatineau picked up a win at Draveurs Stadium, toppling the Laval Insulaires, 8-3. Pitcher Mark Wall was one of the reasons the Draveurs triumphed. Gatineau, at 38-46, sits in last place in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec Division Sud.

Doing his part for Gatineau was third baseman Dennis Parker, who stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. For the game, Parker was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.

Parker told a Gatineau Gazette reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
