Privateers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Dons
The Sherbrooke Privateers overcame a fine performance by Quebec City third baseman Ron Gunter to defeat the Dons, 8-5, at Dons Ballpark. Gunter went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Sherbrooke is now 29-18.

Sherbrooke took advantage of an error in the top of the tenth inning. The game was tied, 5-5, when Fabián Beltrán hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Sherbrooke in front, 7-5.

"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Beltrán.
