Sherbrooke shortstop Fabián Beltrán made his presence felt in the 7-6 Privateers triumph over the Lachute Supercalenders. Beltrán was 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. A.J. Reddin was the winner. Over 9 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 14 hits, with no walks and 3 strikeouts. At 18-12, the Privateers claim first place in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec Division Nord.

Garrett Ellsworth was the walk-off hero for Sherbrooke. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Privateers right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Beltrán said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
