Well, that's how to end a game in style.

The Quebec City Dons outlasted Henry Didkowsky and the Trois-Rivieres Trifluviens, 9-8. Didkowsky was impressive in the loss. The Trois-Rivieres third baseman went 3 for 6 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Quebec City reliever Jackson Fielding picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Rocky Aubin was saddled with the loss.

The Dons procured the win, in large part because of right fielder John Wakeley. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

Wakeley said afterward that he hoped the win would galvanize the team.

The loss drops Trois-Rivieres to 13-9.
