Levis and Trois-Rivieres got after it at Fourches Park.

The Levis Fourches picked up a win at Fourches Park, taking down the Trois-Rivieres Trifluviens, 7-2. Starting pitcher Chet Batten was a big reason why. After losing, Trois-Rivieres is 11-8.

Graig Doyle dealt the Trifluviens a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Levis leading 1-0, Doyle hit a first pitch slider for a 2-run single.

Batten said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
