Moores Powers Insulaires to 14-7 Win
The Laval Insulaires topped the Lachute Supercalenders, 14-7, in Ligue de Baseball du Québec action at Ballpark of Lachute. The game was highlighted by the performance of Laval left fielder Gregg Moores. With the loss, Lachute sinks to 8-2.

Laval relied on the hitting of Pierce Durdle to pick up the win. The first baseman ripped a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put the Insulaires on top, 3-0. For the game, Durdle had 1 triple and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Laval manager Dennis Sexton.
