The Brampton Florists picked up a win at Brampton Fields, knocking off the Sudbury Meteors, 7-4. Starting pitcher Oscar Burt played a key role in the triumph. Burt, now 11-22, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 10 hits, while striking out 1, walking 1, and allowing 4 runs. The win puts the Florists at 49-48, while the Meteors drop to 46-51.

C.J. Griffin was a prime contributor to the Brampton win. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third with two out, the 36-year old right fielder hit a 2-run single. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Florists.
