The Sault Ste. Marie Rapids trumped the Pickering Bonebreakers, 10-9, at Bonebreakers Field. Sault Ste. Marie left fielder Anson Tessier was terrific. He was 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI. Charlie Stuckless, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 7 runs on 9 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 1. His record now stands at 19-10. George Wills converted his 4th save in 4 tries.

With Sault Ste. Marie leading 8-7 in the top of the eighth, Tessier hit a changeup from Orrin Brunskill for a 2-run double. It was his 27th double of the season and put the Rapids ahead, 10-7.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Sault Ste. Marie manager Elijah Washington.

The loss makes Pickering 54-44.
