Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Bonebreakers
Starting pitcher Bill Dukeshire pitched well enough to help the Pickering Bonebreakers beat the Sault Ste. Marie Rapids, 4-3. Dukeshire went the distance for Pickering. He gave up 3 runs on 11 hits. The Bonebreakers raised their record to 39-40.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Pickering right fielder Conrado Zúñiga, facing Les Mahoney, had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. It gave the Bonebreakers the 4-3 win.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Dukeshire.
