The Pickering Bonebreakers defeated the Hamilton Hammers, 8-4, at Bonebreakers Field today. Leading the charge for Pickering was left fielder Hércules Parra. The 28-year old right fielder Caleb Pilgram tried to rally his team in the top of the fourth inning. With the bases loaded and Hamilton trailing 4-2, Pilgram hit a run-scoring single. But that was all she wrote for Hamilton. "Pilgram had a nice at-bat," said manager Jon Blanche. "Otherwise, we had a shortage of hits when it counted."
