Dukeshire went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 1. His record improves to 12-8. Pickering is now 27-31, while Hamilton is 33-24.

Josh John, the five-time Maple Syrup Hand winner , had a direct impact on the outcome. John contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Pickering up, 2-0.
