The Nipissing Air Marshals picked up a win at Air Marshals Stadium, knocking off the Hamilton Hammers, 11-2. On the mound for Nipissing was right-hander Chris Hallamore, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Air Marshals raised their record to 25-28.

Nipissing shortstop Ron Pearcey contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a curveball into left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 58th hit of the season and put the Air Marshals ahead, 2-0.

"You never take a win for granted in this league," said Hallamore.
