The first-place Sault Ste. Marie Rapids took on the Pickering Bonebreakers in front of a spirited crowd.

Sault Ste. Marie Rapids starter Charlie Stuckless was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Pickering Bonebreakers, 4-2. Stuckless went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 11-6.

With one out in the bottom of the fourth, Josh Spottswood put Sault Ste. Marie in front, 2-1, with a run-scoring single. The Rapids went on to win the ballgame.

"There are times you get yourself out and there are times you come through," Spottswood said. "That's how it goes."

With the win, the Rapids improved to 32-23.
