The Brampton Florists overcame a good performance by Sault Ste. Marie catcher Stephen Kreamer to knock off Sault Ste. Marie, 8-5, at Brampton Fields. Kreamer went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. The third-place Florists have a record of 21-22.

Oscar Burt threw 9.0 innings allowing 5 runs for Brampton. The 32-year old left-handed pitcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Charlie Stuckless. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.
