Major, Hammers Too Much for Wheelwrights
|
Behind a solid performance from second baseman Adam Major, the Hamilton Hammers defeated the Markham Wheelwrights, 6-2. Major went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Hammers. Matt Sparkes earned the win to go to 4-3. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts in 9 innings of work. The win puts Hamilton at 12-9.
