Cowhands Win Circuit Championship Series
Jared Ragsdale put the Odessa Cowhands on his shoulders as they downed the Abilene Preachers in the Circuit Championship Series.

Odessa won the deciding game by a 4-1 count at Cowhands Park and wrapped up the series 3-1.

Ragsdale played a key role in the victory, as he was named series MVP for his offensive output, which included a .412 batting average with a .389 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 7 RBI and 4 runs scored.

"I told myself it was time to step it up and help the team win and I'm glad I was able to do that," he said.

The Odessa Cowhands will play against the Luling Lavender Stockings in the next round. Luling won their series against the Nacogdoches Roaches 3 games to 1. The Championship of Texas schedule will be announced after the Circuit Championship Series finishes.
