Privateers Clip Insulaires 8-7 in AS Contest
The Sherbrooke Privateers and the Laval Insulaires will take the Association Series to a decisive 5th game. The Privateers got a dramatic walk-off victory in a must-win situation today to beat the Insulaires 8-7 at Privateers Park and force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Sherbrooke catcher Bob Kerfoot went 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs.

Lindsay Lilly delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Privateers. For the game, Lilly was 1-4 with 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs.

"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Sherbrooke manager Víctor Manuel Leija told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."

The next game is set to be played for Monday, August 30th , 1897 at Insulaires Field in Laval.
